Landing page

Also called: Destination page · Conversion page

A landing page is built for a single action, such as requesting a quote, and is where people land after clicking an ad or campaign.

A landing page has a single goal: turning whoever arrived from an ad, email or post into a lead, quote request or sale. Unlike the homepage, it removes distractions and speaks exactly to the offer that brought the visitor.

How it works

An effective landing page has a headline that repeats the ad’s promise, proof (customers, numbers, real photos), a short explanation of how it works, answers to the most common objections and one call to action repeated down the page. It must load fast on mobile and track conversions correctly (form, chat, call), or the campaign optimizes blind.

Practical example

An elevator maintenance company sent ads to its homepage and got few leads. A landing page just for “elevator modernization for residential buildings”, with job photos, average timeline and a chat button, cut cost per lead in half on the same budget.

Common mistakes

  • Sending every ad to the homepage.
  • Keeping the full menu and several goals on the same page.
  • Not tracking chat or call button conversions.

FAQ

Do I need a landing page per ad?

Not per ad, but per offer or audience. If two campaigns promise different things, each deserves a page that continues its promise.
